THE MEATRIX ISSUE

The meatrix issue: FEED

1. Animals are given feed formulated to speed their growth to market weight and supply them with essential nutrients, while minimizing costs to operators.
2. Concerns have arisen about the content of these feeds, however, as grain-based diets can produce serious and sometimes fatal digestive tract problems in food animals such as cows, goats, and sheep whose stomachs are best suited to digesting high-cellulose containing plants like grass.
3. The use of hormones to growth an animal faster than normal.

It is important to consider how livestock feed affects animal health, and by extension the health of people who consume these animal products.

As a meat consumer is very shocking to read or see this type of information. Our increased meat consumption is making this factories farmers use cheap food, mixed with antibiotics to accelerate their grow and fatten them quickly.
I will recommend to reduce meat in our diets. If meat demand gets lower, meat industries will produce less and they will feed animals regular food and animals will grow at a normal time.
I will recommend to eat more vegetables less meat.
We should care because it will not only affect our health it will affect our environment too. Because a big production includes more industries, less green spaces, more pollution, new bacteria's, new illness. It will affect the future of our new generations more than ours.
